Lisa and Leith. Aren't they the sweetest? I happen to adore couples that openly admit they are nervous for their engagement session. I also happen to know it's a given people are nervous to have their photograph taken, myself included. But when someone openly admits it, it makes it all the better. It makes my heart smile when I'm told a little secret :)

Can I take a moment to say thank you to all those who refer me? Lisa happens to be friends with a past bride AND know my husband from high school. Portland is cool like that... you never know how small this town is until you are in a consult and your couples name drop a few people. I love it when that happens! So, thank YOU for referring me! It's the hugest compliment... besides loving my work, of course!

Moving on, every photo session is tailored to fit the couple. I always inquire what is "them" asking what do you love to do together, what is your favorite activity, and so on. Just like the proposal story, every couple is unique and every couples relationship is different. I feel so privileged to be able to have a glimpse into their lives. When I asked Lisa what her and Leith love to do together her answer was wine tasting and scuba diving. I decided not to go with the latter....!  Can you imagine!
