As much as I try and dress myself with a smile, bright colors and happy people - today - gray has taken over. Not only outside but in my soul so deep I can't seem to reach far enough to figure out what it is. Things that really get me down: drama, heartache, negativity, un-creativeness, same 'ole, same 'ole, unresolved issues. I know I'm a month or so late in saying this but,  Bah Humbug to Tuesday.

Whole Foods just opened up around the corner. I've been waiting for this location to open up for, I don't know... say 6 months. So when I finally saw the screaming yellow and green sign, "We're Open" waving in my face I obliged.

I browsed the store resisting the temptation to stick my fingers into every grain barrel just to feel the rice slip past my fingers. I just wandered though the entire store until I stopped in my tracks. I picked up this package and smiled. My mind says, "Self, you don't need the cookies." So true... so true. However, I went back three times and looked at the box, picked it up and put it down again. As I stared through the plastic packaging I began to smile again. These little hearts made my soul sing and taste buds water.

The thing is you never really need cookies, but you always need love and happiness.

So I bought 'em. They make me smile and say goodbye to gray.

Although this picture looks simple, it is beautiful in its simplicity. I love how the pink, purple and white frosting pops on the cookie! As always, I love your pictures.
